Wow in the baby pic they dont look alike, I probably wouldn’t have tested them and just assumed they were fraternal! lol. But now you can definitely tell their Identical ??

I am nervous about having identical and not being able to tell them apart lol. They’re so cute!!!

@aimilc I have had it trimmed once so far. As their hair is getting longer the curls are dropping slightly. It could probably do with another cut! X

What did you have to do to have them tested and how much did it cost?

It’s a simple cheek swab that you get. Similar to a mascara brush. You send these swabs away to be tested. I’m in the UK and it cost me £79. But I’ve seen people use Proactive Genetics in the US for $139 x

This is amazing. What were your twins when you were pregnant. I’ve got 8 week old twin girls. They were di/di when I was pregnant. I think they look nothing alike but some people have said they look identical. I’m in the UK as well where did you send off for testing if you don’t mind me asking?

@LJC82 my pregnancy they were DCDA so was told throughout they were non ID. When born they looked different so was happy with that. At 5 Months they just turned into the spit of each other so convince hubby to let me test (I would have done it anyway!) I used DNA solutions which was £79 with tamba discount. (I think it’s £89 now) took two weeks for my results. However my friend used Northgene which is £95 but results in 2 days!

I don’t think my girls look alike but I think it’s just me. But the test was worth the money to know either way for sure x

Wow that’s amazing! I had the same pregnancy as you. I’ve been told they are non-identical as well. I don’t think they look anything alike but strangers always think they’re identical. I’ll wait & see what happens then. If they start to look the same at least I know some places to get them tested now. Thank you. So crazy how different your girls looked as babies! x
