Me and my husband got carrier tested for CF this week and we get the results tomorrow and I'm nervous. His parents are so he has a 2/3 chance of being one. I was quite sure I wouldn't be but it turns out its a 1/22 for white British people to be carriers. Fingers crossed it all goes well...

My partner could also be a carrier.. And I know how scary this is lucky we had the test and all is clear keep your head up babe x

Im a carrier, husband is not. I know the suspense your going through. Hope you both get the negative cf. All it takes is one negative to be in the clear.

Thank you everybody. My added worry is I'm carrying twins so would be the health of both babies. I know what will be will be but hurry up today so we know!

I'm a carrier and go through that fear every time but thank god so far none of my boys are. Best of luck!

UPDATE!! Thank you everyone. We got the results and my husband is a carrier which we expected but I'm not so all will be fine with babies!

It's definitely a relief. We would have taken the risk though if we were both carriers. It's just nice to know x
