My heart is breaking. My good friend just called me in tears. Her grandparents in Puerto Rico live alone and they lost contact with them several hours ago. It is expected that a lot of the island will be without power for months.

Everyone is Puerto Rico and the rest of the islands in the path of Irma are in my thoughts. ❤️

That gave me major chills. Oh my gosh. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone being affected by this hurricane.

My heart goes out to them and the other islands. I'm so worried that Puerto Rico is going to be completely ignored by our government in terms of help.

I feel horrible for those people. They have nowhere to evacuate to and are just sitting ducks out there in the water. I hope they get help asap. ?
