How would you have reacted?

I would have just made a joke. Or said "oh yeah she never eats!"

If the lady seemed like she was more joking then I would've joked too but she was genuinely being so mean. She acted like I was abusing/neglecting my child.

I probably would've asked for her to get her manager immediately! And then proceed to tell the manager how disrespectful there employee is, very loudly

Omg, I swear old people think that's the funniest joke ever. I can't even tell you how many times people have said that to me. ? My own sister has even said something similar (she was joking as well), now I just play along with it. I'll usually say something like "They can't be THAT hungry, I fed them yesterday morning." Or "is the water not filling them enough?"

I should've talked to the manger. It was at a Walmart too. I try avoid Walmart but couldn't that time.

I would have spoken to a manager. And possibly told that woman to mind her facking business

I would have said something along the lines of not asking for her uneducated opinion and maybe if you're such an expert in child nutrition why exactly are you scanning my groceries for minimum wage? ?

I would have complained to the manager but I also would have told the lady she has no idea what she's talking about

I found the easiest thing to do with crusty people is just laugh I'm talking a deep belly laugh so they know their opinion is irrelevant and not going to affect you. Some people are just bitter and want to make other ppl feel less than smart and other ppl think their opinion must be heard and acknowledged... either way best thing is to ignore or laugh it off ? (even if you're so pissed your eyes get teary!) lol

Likely would have told her to f*** off. I'm not the kindest person when someone insults me.

Her: Obviously that child is starved.

I love the little old ladies who gawk over dd. It's so cute. A lot of them talk about their grandchildren living far away and missing them. And interacting with dd makes them happy. Dd also screams HI to EVERY single person we walk past haha.

I would have prob said, "you could stand to give up a few snacks"... whether she needed to or not. But that's because I immediately resort to a$$hole mode when people are douche bags.

I don't like to judge. I don't know if it's a medical issue or not but she was heavy set.

I would have spoken to management and reported her or asked her to call them to the till. Since its over I would call the stores corporate and let them know. Thats rude, disrespectful, and uncalled for. As someone who's worked customer service/sales for over 10years I would have given her a write up and warned her if it happens again shes gone.

You can still complain ... at the top of your receipt is a 4 digit number that identifies which cashier checked you out specifically , I know because I use to work there .
