Is this my period?

I'm 6 weeks pp. My lochia bleeding tapered off and stopped about 3 weeks ago. Well for the past two days I've been bleeding again. It heavier than any period I've ever had but not to point were I'm seriously concerned. I am passing small clots too. Is this normal? Did my lochia bleeding start up again or is it my period? After my first it was like 4 months until I got my period again so I'm not sure. I haven't really over exerted myself with anything either.
