So I'm 39 weeks and at the doctor. Bp has always been normal until now. She said it's dangerously high all of a sudden. Did a urine test and they found lots a protein. :( looks like I don't get my natural labor. She said I will most likely need to be induced if I don't go into labor in the next day or 2.

I hope they break my water and BOOM it happens. Lol. I don't want the pitocin. The contractions were so bad.

Aw ? they broke my water but I never needed pitocin or anything, my body progressed through labor quickly & naturally. So there's hope still!

Definitely request something else!! I haven't ever been induced but I've heard/read you can ask for something other than pitocin.

Have they mentioned cervidil? It's the cervix softener. I was supposed to be induced but the cervidil kicked me into labor and I had him within 4 hours!

Ask your ob to do a membrane sweep and walk a lot after.

I'm shocked they are giving you two more days. When this happened to my sister she had to go to the hospital and get induced right away.

Awww I'm sorry I can understand being upset. ? Maybe labor will come. Try walking or sex to avoid induce! Sex put me into labor with my 2nd around 39 weeks. I wasn't trying though lol just happened.

I feel for you! I had pitocin, unmedicated. It's not fun. Hopefully labor starts without it!

I am chasing my 19month old around all day. And we have sex 2x a day. What can I say I'm in the mood a lot. Lol. She said the bp being high all of a sudden was concerning. And the protein in my urine was right under the amount to diagnose me with pre-e. I'm doing a 24 hour urine kit and bringing it tomorrow. They will test that and see how much. But she did say I will most likely be induced again. If I don't spontaneously go into labor before that.
