So kind of irked. Dh was pulling weeds and left a couple piles on the sidewalk. (Not the public sidewalk, it's the part that leads to the door) he came in to get some water and some kids were riding their bikes and scooters through the piles. It left green marks. I know water probably will get rid of the marks but who does that? He said something to them about being considerate to others and their stuff. It's not a huge deal but kind of annoying.

They shouldn't have been on your property. I would ask to speak to their parents, to let them know what happened. Any idea whose kids they are?

I know a hose will probably take care of it but it is our property and not the public sidewalk. That was annoyed me. One kid lives across the street. I don't know about the other. Dh asked why he wasn't in school and he said he got in trouble lol so I don't know.

I get mad about things like this and SO says I'm dramatic ? I'm like no they need to respect other people's property. Power washing should help it come out. Honestly I would be right there scrubbing it with bleach lol

I'm sure it'll fade over time. That would bother me too, my dh would probably be more mad than me lol. Our neighbors kids tend to run wild all the time. A few months ago I caught them in the middle of my lawn pulling leaves and branches off my trees. My trees are new trees and only twigs to begin with ?

As long as the neighbors were social (waving if they seen you outside) I wouldn't care if their kids used my sidewalk/drive. I've got better things to worry about. This seems petty. That mark will be gone next time it rains.

No no adults were outside. It was 2 boys maybe 7 and 10 years old. I'm not irritated by the stains. It's the fact that they were riding on our driveway and sidewalk on our property. Even if it didn't leave stains you don't just ride your tires through someone yard work piles. Like I said it's the pathway leading to the front door. Not the regular sidewalk passerbyers walk on.

I would be upset they were riding on my property. God forbid if they fell and hurt themselves on your driveway, you could potentially be liable. Happened to my parents when I was a kid. Thankfully we were friendly with his parents and they understood accidents happen.
