Would it be weird?
So my birthday is coming up. (Dd is also 4 days after my birthday) my family keeps asking what I want. Well I'm pretty laid back and I don't really want or need anything. I know I can always ask for money but would it be weird to ask for things for my kids? Like a box of new born diapers. Or this cute nursery lamp for dd because she will be moving into her own room.

Before my DS was born, my husband and I asked for baby stuff for birthdays and Christmas. (Our bad us are in dec and jan)
My parents didn't have a problem with it.
I think it's also more fun to shop for babies than adults anyways.

I mean I know I could just ask for money in a card. But stuff for my kids makes me happy too. I just didn't know if that would be weird lol.

When I got asked what I wanted for Christmas I asked for stuff for my baby, she wasn't born yet and still isn't and no one minded buying me those things. I say go for it!

Target gift card. You can buy yourself something or stuff for the kids. Like diapers.

I did that!! My birthday was in November and I told everyone not to get me anything. I'd rather them buy something I really want for him v.s getting me gifts.
