I had no idea what this was until dd1. With ds I didn't get it at all. I had him at 33 weeks. With dd1 I got it about 20 weeks (she was born 31 weeks) and couldn't figure out why I could barley walk! Then these wonderful ladies told me! Dd2 I got them at like 12 weeks! She was full term and my vagina was miserable the whole time.
I haven't experienced lightening crotch...but I feel like I have pulled every muscle in my vagina/groin area. It constantly aches. I can't wait to deliver this little. This is my last pregnancy, and with all the little things that have happened, I'm so done having babies. I'm listening to my body, that it has had enough.

It's so awful. It literally feels like a jolt of lightning in your crotch. It's a split second and it makes me wince every time.
