One thing that helped me was that I brought lots of cheap new little baubles and toys to pull out of my purse at a moment's notice. Also, tons of snacks.

Get a small bag of new little toys, every time she gets bored of one let her pick out another. Like little cars, a couple balls, a rattle, teething toy, a small makeup mirror, things of that sort.

My 17 month old is pretty into touch and feel books, books with flaps to lift or books that have buttons to push.

A movie or cartoon on your phone or tablet.

I travelled from london to brisbane with my son on my lap. The flight was around 25 hours. He was actually pretty good. He responded well to having the tablet with some wiggles videos on them. I also had a few of his favourite books. For some of the flight he just wanted to walk up and down the aisle so he could see what everyone was doing so i went with him while he did.

So the first thing you should do is check to see if it's a full flight. If it isn't, just strap her in and don't move her, she's allowed the seat if the flight isn't full. I have flown so much with my son and one thing I always do is check to see if it's a full flight because it's a life saver.

Also you could try tape. Some babies love it, my son gets upset at the feel of it lol.

Sit closer to the bathroom. For some reason my son poops more on flights. Doesn't mean yours will but boy was it helpful.
