So dd is 15 mos. We live is AZ. Last winter she was too young to really notice but I've noticed since its getting cool out I have to start putting long sleeves on her. Its not freezing here yet and she gets really warm so I'm afraid she will get too warm if I try to put them on her. Well were going to Texas for Xmas and its going to be cold. I've tried long shirts and jackets and screams bloody murder until I take it off. I hate to just leave the clothing on her while she screams until she gets used to it but I don't know how to get her to not freak out. I've tried distracting her but she won't have it. Are there any tricks I could try? We have like 3 cold months out if the year so its hard to get her used to winter clothes.

I live in AZ too but my girls don't have problems with wearing winter clothes . I guess I would take away all the summer clothes pull out all winter clothes and let your LO choose an outfit ! That might help ??

We aren't using ac. The bill is so high and since it is somewhat nice out we just have the windows open. But our room gets so warm for some reason. We leave the door open 24/7 and the window open. The ceiling fan and a tower fan going. It never gets cold in there ugh

My dd FREAKS OUT about socks and new shoes, it was/is terrible. The only thing we can do is just try to distract her and once she calms down she doesn't even care anymore. We still haven't figured out how to get her to keep a hat on though because she can take them off quicker than we can put them on.
