Could the pain be related to the start of a stomach bug? If your really concerned you could go in.

100.8 is really not high at all.. i would personally take a cool shower and drink something cold or take some Tylenol. If you're really concerned though you could go for peace of mind. I just hate hospitals because there are far more germs there that you could catch.

So the nurse called back and I had fallen asleep and didn't hear it. I think the office is closed now but I did call back and leave a message. In her message she said go to the er. My husband had said he thought I said 108 degree temp the first time I called. But I could've sworn I said 100.8. But now I can't get ahold of her to clarify. I mean if I heard a patient say 108 degree fever I'd say go to the er asap. So now I don't know what to do.

Have you tried taking Tylenol ?

I'm almost 2 wks PP and rocking a fever of around 103 from uterine infection on the daily. But when I went to my regular doctor, I was told viruses with a fever are super common right now. Not sure where you're located, but flu season is in high swing and that comes with a fever and stomach ache.

I would take Tylenol, put a cold compress on your head, drink lots of fluids, and relax. See if it goes down.. if it doesn't, then reconsider the ER. I hope you feel better, fevers totally stink!
