will it still be good? If you leave breastmilk out for 4 hours can u still refrigerate it?

I wouldn't. From what I've been told, freshly expressed milk is only good for 4 hours at room temp and then it needs to be used or tossed

Fresh milk is good up to 8 hours in room temp. I'd refrigerate it or just keep it out

I was told between 4-6 hours room temperature is fine, fridge or give to baby by next feeding. I donate my extra milk so I have a ton of rules about storing my milk and this is one of them ?.

I been trying to pump as much as possible cuz latch problems n dont want to use formula at all ..i dont leave it out for too long ..but if i dont have more to pump after 3 hours i refrigerate it just to get my supply going n if she wont latch i give her whats out then go to fridge if i need it n if she does latch i add whats out to the fridge

I would refrigerate but not freeze and would try and is it with in 24 hrs. I have least milk out 8 hrs and my lo ate it with no problems. Trust me you lo will let you know if it's bad!

I'd refrigerate it, I always keep my freshly pumped milk out for 6hrs with no problem, if I don't think he's gonna eat it after 4hrs I put it in the fridge but make a note that it's only allowed another 2hrs at room temperature once I take it out.

Get familiar with your milk. Meaning smell and taste when you knows it's good for example freshly pumped and milk that has been refrigerated for only a day or two and milk that has been frozen for a month. They all have different scents, taste and color.

At about 5.5 months my son started sleeping and I always pump and would leave out at room temp because he was getting up every 5 hrs. Well this one time the milk stayed out for 10 hrs and I said well let's see if it's still good... He took two sucks and spit it back at me... Lol your lo knows how it is suppose to taste so of its bad they won't eat it.

Ok is 2 oz good for a hlf hour session 4 days after birth? She has latch issues ..will a shield help?
