Positive? start of positive? Negative? This is the darkest I've had this far 😫 my predicted O day…

Once the line closest to the white part is as dark or darker than the other line it’s positive . It still looks negative to me, but looks very close . I would definitely test again in like 6 hours . When it starts to get close you can even test 3 times in the same day and make sure you catch your surge ! These tests are not supposed to be used with first morning urine the same way pregnancy tests are . They should be taken after 12 pm and at night so you get more accurate results ! FX for you !!

@girlygirl1988, thank you! Okay so I'm new to this so bare with me, you mentioned "catching your surge" I was informed that O is 24-48 hours post a positive.. So in that case how does down to the precise hour matter? (Truly a question)

@rese, nope it doesn’t . Your luteinizing hormone surge ( the LH on the strip ) comes 12-36 hours before you ovulate . So once you get a positive that is how long you have before you release an egg. The color has to be as dark or darker and needs to be done later in the day. A surge usually happens sometime in the morning but can take several hours to appear in urine so that’s why these strips work best with afternoon pee lol. Some tests ( I think the more expensive ones like first response and maybe clear blue ) you do with fmu
