So happy you are both ok. Do the doctors know what caused your fever? Hope you’re feeling better. And baby girl will be just fine.

My son was in the NICU because he aspirated amniotic fluid. I know it’s sad to feel like your baby was taken away. Hoping she got some rest and is feeling better too.

Definitely visit and ask to breastfeed if that’s what you want to do. At first they wouldn’t let me, but I contacted the hospital’s lactation consultant and she talked to the ped and they finally allowed me too. It will help the milk come in and the colostrum will make her stronger. (At the very least, they will bring a breast pump to your room so you can pump, and then they will bottlefeed your baby the colostrum.) ❤️
