Any mommy's back to work and breastfeeding or pumping? Do you have a set schedule? Did you train your body?

When I worked it was flexible I worked in an office, although sometimes I did waver from my schedule. I went about 8 months at that point I just wasn’t producing enough (probably bc I wasn’t as consistent as I should have been) and my son didn’t really seem to care if it was a bottle or not, so I slowly started pumping less and less.

@mamaways, so legally, they have to give you pumping breaks in addition to your regular breaks. And they also have to provide a room that’s not a bathroom for you to pump. If they don’t, they are violating laws and could get in trouble

@roth1321 @texxie @morgyporgypudninpie so when it came to pumping at work did you have to take breaks every 2 hours or did you have a job where you could be flexible? Im trying to get a office job but I may be going back to grocery and I know I won't be able to leave the floor just to pump, clean the pump, properly store the milk, etc.

Yes - setting a schedule and consistency is key! You want to keep milk supply up, especially for the days you don’t have to pump bc you have baby with you!

I’m back at work now and I pump every 2-3 hours. Even tho I’m always feeling like I don’t want to do bc I’m tired, you have to push through it. I would say just make sure you have the right size flanges bc that’ll make a difference. And make sure you are pumping for at least 10 minutes
