The way the system works the less you see your kid the more you pay. In the past 2 years we only had my step son once. I encourage him to ask her everyday for him. Also finally convinced him to go to court to get some type of visitation set up. His ex wouldn’t do mediation though she wants to take it all the way to court. Like she ask for consistency but he been asking every week for his son since his last visit she’s the only one being in constant. Smh my kids don’t know their brother and my husband and I try to talk about him so they know they have an older brother.

@messybunmom, right it makes me sad his dad cries cause he only wants to see his son. My husband been through so much he just wants his kids in his life. Right after she stopped letting him see his son. My husbands moms boyfriend stabbed him multiple times after the guy rushed my husband. Cause my husband told him to calm down. His mom told me that same day she was glad my husband was there cause if it was just her she don’t know what would have happened. But she went back to him. And now is constantly trying to scare my husband from going to court to testify against her boyfriend. So now he just wants to be in his sons life. He wants to be the parent he never had since his parents were not a stable figures in his life.

@momwithavlog, yeah I would think his ex would be reasonable he gets their son more she wouldn’t have to pay for day care but cause he has to pay half she gets more. I don’t think she would drop their sons day care either. Which seems more like her mom watches him since we drove by their mobile homes to go to my bank and it happened to be when school got out and he was walking home. It’s just retarded she now insists he goes to court to get a court order to get visitation
