My first baby was born very big, after 2 hours hours of pushing I was passing out, I managed to push his head out before I was seeing spots and couldn't comprehend what was going on, my Dr. Took matters into his own hands and pulled him out, I'm very petite and have a very small pelvis... my second baby I went to a different Dr. To avoid having that experience again. And i made it very clear about my concerns of birthing another big baby, so I had frequent ultrasounds to keep track of her weight and size and my Dr. Said he will induce me at 36 weeks to avoid any dangerous situations if it came to it... If it's medically necessary I support early inductions, but if your baby isn't going to come out a watermelon and danger your delivery keep that baby in for as long as you can. My daughter was born 7lbs at full term with no complications😊 my son was 9.10.
As a Mum of 2 prem babies this makes me sooo angry when women talk like that. I would want my babies inside as long as bloody possible to grow and develop properly.
The longest I ever stayed pregnant was 38 weeks, I I can’t comment on how hard it is to go to 40-42 weeks, but I can say how hard it is dealing with a prem even if just by a few weeks. It’s hard.
Seriously... wtf is wrong with these women?!?!? It’s so selfish of someone rushing a baby! I see girls in here asking and wanting to induce labor. And im here like🙄🙄
That’s sad! I had a really painful pregnancy with ds3 but didn’t want to be induced unless it was med necessary. So many are selfish and don’t realize that they signed up for a possibility of 40+ weeks. Give or take.
