It's raining ☔️

I'm crying. I miss my SO. Last night I cried myself to sleep. He's a trucker OTR (started in January, I guess it's now getting to me). In the beginning he was home more. He has only been home for a few hours the last few weeks. It's mentally, physically, and emotionally draining. Raising a teething 1 yr old alone, working full time is hard. Idk how single moms do it. I want him home. DD is learning and doing so much and he's missing it all. It breaks my heart.

Ugh I'm sorry op! I've definitely been there too. I was home alone with 3 kids and pregnant with the 4th at the time and I did that for 8 months . My dh would only come home for a weekend and leave again . I couldn't do it anymore and I told dh to look for an alternative. He was missing so much especially with our oldest who was 6 at the time and the school work . I hope u feel better and if u wanna talk u can pm whenever .

Thank you both. I thought I could be stronger than this. It's tough for sure! I've calmed down, trying to be strong for my DD. I am going to see if I can talk him into finding a local job or go back to hvac. I don't know how long I can really handle him being gone. I just talked to him and he said he should be home on Friday. And will be resetting his hours at home! So that's 30+ home. And I had a coworker offer to work my Saturday. I'm so thankful that it has worked out this way.

I'm sorry you're going through this op! That must be hard, I can't imagine going through that... I know this is off topic but what city do you live in?

I'm a mother of two and their father is OTR driver, as well. So, I definitely understand how you must feel. We spent a lot of time doing FaceTimes so he could be in things he had to miss; plus, anytime he had to drive through or near the state, he'd make a detour to stop by home, if only for the night.

Hope it gets better for you hun!

We do FaceTime when he is resetting his clock. I call whenever I can and so does he. I think I needed to cry it out. I feel much better today.

And I'm in Salt Lake City ?
