Poor SO.... He has a 4 mm kidney stone! He woke me up at 1 am and didn't want to go to the hospital…
Poor SO....
He has a 4 mm kidney stone! He woke me up at 1 am and didn't want to go to the hospital then, so I drugged him up on painkillers(tylenol lol) and something to help if it was gas. But then he woke me up again at 430 am in excruciating pain. He sat on the toilet for an hour I kept telling him we are going to the hospital but he refused. So I got ready while he was being stubborn, then it hit him hard. By then I was ready, nursed DD had her changed and ready to go. So I dressed him and rushed to the hospital... the doc gave him morphine and some other pain killers. He had so much he felt better and felt stupid for going, I don't he's ever had morphine. But he was feeling good because she gave him 2 doses in an hour. Poor guy is now home and curled up in a ball in bed. I hope he feels better soon. Kidney stone are no joke

My hubby had a couple 2 summers ago. One was 7mm and had to be blasted. He was rolling on the bed almost in tears. He had never asked to go to the ER so when he did I was surprised. I hope your SO feels better soon.

It's a good thing he went in. My mom once had a kidney stone that was too big and it blocked an opening in her kidney. She had to have it blasted. Kidney stones can be scary

Thanks ladies. I had kidney stones during my first pregnancy. It was HORRIBLE. I kept asking him how he felt because that was my first thought when he came crawling to me. (He sleeps on the couch most nights because DD and I take up the bed) he said he felt like he was going to die. I'm glad he finally agreed to go in. And I meant to say something along the lines of it being his first time having morphine. Because he didn't feel any pain. But I knew he was still in pain it was just masked.

I had kidney stones and it was the worst pain of my life. I was throwing up and almost passing out. Damn hospital let me sit in pain for 6 hours before they even saw me.

My SO had them before & had to get surgery. It sucks seeing them in pain
