Help with formula
Since I've had mastitis I've been formula feeding. Thing is... with BM I only needed 4oz. But obviously they are different. I fed her 6oz and she still cried for more. I don't want to over feed her. What amount does a 6 month old baby eat?

That's a good question for the LC. Because the issue is you don't want to overfeed and make her want 6oz of bm. I would call and check.

My son is only 5 months but he Currently has 6oz every 4 hours

My daughter will be 6mos in 9 days and has started taking 6oz every 4hrs or so.

Ok. Sounds about right. It's crazy the difference between the two. I was able to get 3 oz of BM and she drank that no problem.

If your baby was strictly breast fed then try pace feeding. She may not actually need more just doesn't realize she's full because she's getting the formula so much quicker from the bottle.

My son eats 6.5-7oz every 3 hours. But I make my formula and its goats milk so it's a lot lighter than cows milk formula. I'm trying to get my supply back up so I'm having to use formula until then. Makes me sad
