Thank you! My fever broke and heart rate is down from when I arrived. It was at 157! No wonder I felt like I was gonna die. My brother said I looked extremely pale when he brought me, he stopped by and said I have some color now. I should have come days ago. I'm feeling super weak, nurse said that's normal because I have had a fever for days and with my heart rate so high, I should expect my body to crash a little. But they have me on very strong antibiotics. It's helping for sure. All my symptoms started Thursday. I'll never wait that long ever again.

I got mastitis once. I woke up with a small lump and by the end of the day I was running a small fever. I knew what it was so I went ahead and went to the dr. I'm glad your feeling better. That crap hurts!

Yeah I waited way too long. I had the same thing happen to me on Thursday! Barely went in. I'll never wait to be seen again

I don't think it's common. I'll continue breast feeding as well. Can't let the horror stories scare you too much. This may never happen to you. ?

Oh and netata it normally doesn't get this bad for most women, cause clearly I am not smart and waited days before seeking help. Nurses advice is 'once you have a tiny lump/clog and flu like symptoms call your doctor'. Since I waited I had to be put on heavy antibiotics and needed and IV for fluids because I was massively dehydrated.
