An old friend came by the house today. It was nice to catch up and have time with someone outside of my house lol. And she brought a Fisher price swing! It's so cute plus I didn't have one. I'm still collecting stuff for baby... I feel blessed at times like this. We sat and visited for a few hours and we put the swing together. I need more lady friends in my life lol

I think we lose some because they do not have kids. They don't really know what we are going through. We lose contact because we are usually busy with our own families.

Pretty much all of my friends had their first kid before me except one. And surprisingly the one who didn't was really the only friend who stayed a consistent friend to me. It bugged me at first because I always stuck by them during their pregnancies and one of them I was even with her during labor. She ended up getting pregnant again after I had ds and guess who wanted to be all buddy buddy again. No thanks.
