Best to get it checked. It can be normal, but it could also be an allergic reaction to something, or even possibly the start of an infection at the site.

I was itchy all over when I got the epidural. They had to give me meds for it to stop. I also couldn't stop quivering like it I was freezing cold.

The medicine used in the epidural actually makes you itch. At least that's what my nurses told me because I itched constantly.
