@Springforward it's Hex's mom not Mil I'm sorry I didn't make that more clear. I just think I do way too much and have way too much responsibility for all of these problems that I didn't create! Yes hex lied about being on birth control and created SS then used him to manipulate Dh from the very start of her pregnancy. And yes I feel bad for Dh. But I didn't create all of these problems and shouldn't be harassed because of them.

Sounds to me like she really dont want to see him or want time with him. We make** time for what we want.

Why is everything with SS on you?

I don't text/call Hex and she doesn't text/call me. DH deals with all the drop offs/ pick ups, and even on the rare occasion that I need to drop SD off or pick her up, DH texts Hex and Hex texts DH (while he's at work) and DH then texts me!

I also see no reason for MIL to be contacting you or for you to be contacting MIL if she treats you crappily. I've stopped talking to some cousins/aunts/uncles because of the way they treated me. It's very nice not having to deal with them anymore.

If you can, I would cease all contact with MIL-I see you've blocked her, good, no drop offs or pick ups with MIL etc. Is she your MIL or is she Hex's mom? I was a little confused about that part. And no one has rights to the children except their parents, unless it's stated differently in a court order.

I hope SS stops acting out for you and that Hex actually shows up the next time she's supposed to!!!

And yes, I would go wherever you have planned already. If Hex didn't pick him up at the appointed time, and didn't text you about it at all to say she was just running late or something, she's not getting him. She doesn't seem to want him. I don't think she plans to get him this time at all.

@arrow no we don't. I honestly just want to cry. SS refused to clean his room and when I asked why refused to answer me. I got so mad. I told Dh I can't do this anymore with Hex's mom calling me and Hex texting me b****ing and I said I didn't ask for any p this I shouldn't be responsible for dealing with all of his numerous baggage. I don't deserve this added stress. DS 15 months is legally blind so I already have enough on my plate with him! We've been ttc for eight months now and I need to be relaxing not stressing over bulls*** petty drama and bs!

I shouldn't have gotten mad and SS I apologized to SS and yes I feel bad about it. I just can't handle this anymore. I'm 23 and I feel like I'm already getting gray hair people! I'm so stressed and anxious all of the time and I feel like Dh could be a little more understanding especially considering the fact that when I was working last summer he couldn't deal with SS either and he's HIS child! And DS is a lot of work as well and Dh felt overwhelmed. Dh and I are happy, we want to grow our family, but a home together ect. But sometimes I just can't stand this life. Like wtf did I get myself into? I was only 19 and just a baby. Sometimes I wish I would've thought all of this through but I didn't have the guidance or emotional maturity to do that.

Do you have a right of first refusal? I would think about adding in the court order that hex needs to pick up within 30 minutes of the time or her visit is forfeited. That way you aren't waiting around all weekend...

@kmar17 no she didn't she texted Dh b****ing that it's her parenting time and her mom should get it. I mediation last month she asked for EOW and our lawyer asked if she'll really drive it and Hex said it's for her mom. Our lawyer informed her that her mom doesn't get parenting time and she needs to come. So hex JUST agreed that she would be the one driving 500+ miles across the state EOW to see him. She didn't show up for her visit last week when she got him for the final midweek overnight at the end of the month before EOW started. That was when her mom flipped out. I posted about that drama.

@haywaram usually Hex promises to come then doesn't show up at which point SS breaks down. She's supposed to FaceTime between 7-8 every other day and promises she will then too often doesn't. For awhile there she was calling him once a week or so, then she'd call for three days in a row, the disappear again. Rinse and repeat. Last year he'd act up and kick hit animals when she broke promises and wouldn't call or he'd call her and she'd say she's too busy with her bf or xyz. Luckily SS is in therapy and hasn't hurt an animal since April of this year. We just don't inform him when she's supposed to call nor do we make him call her anymore.

So did she show?. Hours later??. If she is playing and isnt coming when she supposed to..why is she making such a big deal in the courts?

She has to show up at the appointed time. You are NOT at her beck and call all weekend.

Does anyone know if Hex can come take her visit at any time this weekend? Do I just have to wait around for her? Does she forfeit her time if she skips her pick up? We have plans to attend a baby shower out of town and don't honk we should be at her beck and call she can just come get him whenever she wants. I'm not saying I don't want her to have her time because trust me I really do we just don't know how to proceed from here.

The school called. Hex isn't coming! I really thought and was really hoping that DS and I were getting a weekend together. Now my anxiety is through the roof because instead of a relaxing weekend I'll have a drama filled one with SS constantly acting out because Hex can't be bothered to show up for the parenting time she supposedly so desperately wanted and fought us so hard in court to get ?????

Thank you guys! Hex is texting me because apparently she's not going to show up and her mom is picking up SS but has been blocked ? She gives me so much s*** and just NOW figured out how to say the word "please" after ALMOST FOUR YEARS. I'm ignoring her. I'm under no legal obligation to respond am I?

Since last fall. Hex is a deadbeat but I'm REALLY hoping that she pulls through.
