SS School doesn't care what I say
We asked to block Hex's mom-ok no problem. When SS said she showed up today I called the school and they told me that she's his grandmother and they will let her in and basically don't care what I have to say about it. I said so can anyone just come see my kid? They said no but that's his grandmother so I can't stop her and they will be letting her in until I get a court order saying she can't see her grandson. Hex's mom knows people at the school so she has an "In." Needless to say I called the Superintendent and spoke with his receptionist who was appalled at how the school is behaving. I threatened to sue them if my son is ever kidnapped. She said they'll call me back to set up a meeting.

SS principal called me. We're playing phone rage right now but I'll let y'all know when I hear something. Fingers crossed they take this seriously?
That's crazy! And yes I threatened to sue them already. I don't think I can really do anything unless she or someone else actually takes SS7. So basically we have to deal with Hex's constant PASing and then every single day we have to deal with it from someone who's just allowed to waltz into school and poison him against us?! If that's truly the case then I'm really going to push DH to move us out of the area once he graduates the police academy next month. Nope I am SO DONE with the drama.
You need to have a lawyer draft a letter. Can you switch schools? If so I would. Is there a way to get a restraining order? If not, I would have the attorney request copies of the video of the visits at school. I would want to know what she's saying and you could use that to possibly get a ro.
That's crazy to me that a school would put themselves on the line like that. If the parents are requesting no access by her then there should be no access.
Hey did that with SS's preschool and there wasn't even a CO! Hex said I couldn't do pick ups but there was no one else to do them! Her mom was SOOOO MAD when she had to leave work multiple times because Hex who was 500+ miles away told the school I couldn't pick up SS (then 4). She even told Hex she was being ridiculous. The school said whoever picks up SS gets he daily progress slips and said they'd make copies for each parent and then they said Hex said we can't have any updates and they have to side with her because "she's the mother." Unbelievable! I can't even fathom how talks school does that with a CO! Lawsuit......
I have a meeting with the principal tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!!!! ?????
