There are many reasons that women may spot during their cycle including hormone imbalances, ovulation spotting, ib, etc. with some causes being unknown. With your last period ending on the 17th, you very well could be having ovulation spotting which can occur before, during or even after actual ovulation takes place. Continue to opk until you get your positive. I would probably opk test twice daily though because some women have a very short surge and you could possibly miss it with once daily testing. I feel it's too early I had a 38 day cycle last time. But ya I plan on keeping testing. As I have had ovulation spotting and cramping and I usually want sex more when I ovulate...
