update on wanting a shower. and question

My mom really wants to throw one but she is still thinking ettiquites from back when. She like i dont think its right to tgrow it at your house and my town is the best place to throw it. She was thinking askung a family member to help host it so it could be somewhere else but this family member threw my first one. So i asked mom what if we had my 5 yr old co host it. She would have fun helping pick out decorations and the cake and all. So my mom was like you dont think she is too young. I said no she would love it. And i can have dh take her out and help her buy something cheap for the baby as a gift too. I said i could throw in a little money here or there to help too. So i think she is coming around.
