So i will be 24 werks yes this is number 8 but i never came across this with other kids. I saw the rn write down a number of 3+ for urine sample and i causdly asked if that was my levels of protien she said yes and i said is that good pr bad. She said it was more then they like but i forgot to aske dr cause of other issues o jad before apt. Anyone know anything?

They want you to have 0 in your urine. Protein in your urine is a sign of either a kidney or liver issue. This is a precursor to preeclampsia.

In addition to what pp said it could also just be dehydration. I have 2+ with this one and had 3+ with my first and they were both caused by dehydration. Pre-E would also have high blood pressure so if your blood pressure is fine then don't worry too much.

Lots of people have transient proteinuria. I wouldn't worry too much just yet.

I have protein in my urine every time and im 37 weeks now almost 38 and my blood pressure and everything else is fine so they arent to worried about it! I wouldnt worry to much
