what could be wrong with me ?
So lately iv felt so bad. I have a headache that won't go away. I have had it for four days now. Then it just seems like everything is failing. My stomach hurts so much that it hurts to move at times. I keep sweating and I'm in front of 64 degree AC! I haven't had a period in over a year not even since being off bc. I'm not pregnant, already took a test a few weeks ago and it was negative. I just want to feel normal for once! Since having Ashlynn iv felt off and sickly. Iv had a few good days but more bad days then good. My dr said he doesn't know what is wrong with me. When i last saw him he thought pregnancy but when it came back negative he said well Im not sure what is wrong. Give it a few more weeks and see if you feel better. I have a pap smear in a couple weeks. Ugh sorry I don't even know what I'm really looking for. Dh isn't home and I just feel like crap! I just want to be able to get up without nausea, without a headache, without pains all over my body. I want to be able to run around more with my kids but physically cant bc it takes a toll on me so fast. Im so sad right now bc i hate this!

Have you had any blood work done? If not, I would insist it from your dr.

I've had a headache that wouldn't go away either, and I put an ice pack on the back of my neck and my headache went away

It sounds like you have an infection somewhere. I would ask your doctor for lab work and a urinalysis.

Thanks ill ask about it. It just sucks. Im only 26 and my kids are so active and i cant even play with them for 15-30 minutes before I have to take a break. It really hurts to see my dds face fall to a frown when her mommy can't play anymore. I try less active activities. Like coloring and sitting down rolling a ball back and forth but she wants to be on the go. She's 3 so I get it.

Have your thyroid levels checked. I felt awful after having dd and turns out I have a low thyroid. I got on meds and feel so much better! I would get dizzy, have headaches, nausea, heart palpitations, lethargy & my hair was falling out and I was sensitive to heat and cold.

When I was pregnant with my son I started having constant headaches, terrible nerve pain (esp in my upper body), was tired non stop, was nauseated majority of the time and could barely tolerate food, I literally felt like s*** everyday. Turned out a had a hormonal imbalance and I can no longer eat dairy. Even though I tested fine on the allergy tests still 2 and a half years later if I try and eat dairy the pains start coming back.
ETA oh and I also felt like I was constantly having hot flashes. I would walk around broke out in a sweat all day

Ill ask my dr about all this. Thanks for your input ladies.
Pp, iv tried an ice pack on my neck first. Iv tried medicine, iv tried caffine, iv tried to sleep it off, i even tried sex to get rid of it. Nothing has helped. Usually i can go in a quiet and dark room and that helps but not this time.

@golden i know they are still trying to balance. I didnt go back to the dr for the last shot for bc. I last took the shot in march. It needs to be taken every three months. I didnt go back in june bc it was way worse when i was on them. But this last week has been straight hell for me. This has been one of the worst weeks iv had since having ashlynn in terms of how i am feeling.

Have you ever been bit by a tick?
Chantilly Lace·
@jen no. I haven't been to the woods or anything like that. I live in Las Vegas and I'm pretty sure we don't have ticks out here. I also don't go outside very much unless I have to. It's way to hot. 100℉ at midnight.
@ golden, I get plenty of sleep. I sleep until my kids do. With about 15 minutes getting up twice a night. They're in bed at 8pm. They wake a couple times but just for changing. No naps. I go to sleep about 11pm-12am. They also wake up at 7am when dh leaves to work but go back to sleep. I do too. Then were up from anywhere between 9am-11am.

I was feeling like this for a while and I finally went to the doctor. I had a UTI & was dehydrated. After a ton of water and a round of antibiotics I started feeling better.

Is drinking 7-8 16oz bottles a day enough? I feel like I'm always drinking water. I actually love water. Bottled not tap.
Eta: sunshine last time i found out i was pregnant was bc i thought i had a uti but she was just taking all my water and i was dehydrated. It didnt feel this way. I also have no pain when peeing or any color or smell to it. I dont think bits a uti. Im going to ask my dr about all of this at my next appt.

Have you had your blood sugar levels checked??? I would be a little concerned about that with the sweating and headaches

Scary! I have hypo thyroid and have some of the symptoms you've described when not on medication, but some of the symptoms you are experiencing are not adding up to the typical thyroid case. I would suggest visiting an Endocrinologist if your regular doctor his having problems diagnosing you. Endocrinologist not only specialize in thyroid issues, they specialize in anything related to the endocrine system. They might be able to at the least guide you in a better direction in a path to feeling better. Wishing you well ❤️

Could be low on vitamin D. When I got blood work back that's what was wrong with me. So now I take an extra vitamin D3 pill along with my vitamins. I was kinda feeling this way like you.
