I feel like I'm not apart of my family. ? I always have to hear about the things my sisters do and then see it on fb. I ask my older sis to come over she says she can't bc I live to far from her... Ok no biggie right? Wrong! I get on fb to see her and my other sisters at the damn lake! Like you could have at least invited me! Its been happening more and more. I'm never included in any thing. It hurts my heart really. ? When we have a birthday to celebrate I never know bc I don't get told until the day of! I include them in everything! They have kids who are my kids age. My kids don't really know there cousins bc we're always shoved off to the side. I'm so sad. My sister just had to call and tell me all about it! Like yeah I saw on fb how much fun you had at the lake! I saw all of you enjoying yourselves, while I sit at home wondering why I can't get invited to go places with you guys. After i asked you to come over here. ? She picked up my other two sisters and their kids and it wasn't to far to drive to the lake! But I can't even get them to come over here. ?

I completely can relate ? It sucks! My family lives anywhere from 10-30 minutes away which is nothing and I always see them doing stuff together. For me though I think it's an age thing. I'm 23 on my 2nd kid and the second youngest of the family while everyone else with kids are in their 30's. is this maybe a possibility for you?

My two older sisters are only 10 and 6 years older than me. My little sister is 16 months younger than me and was still invited. I also have two kids. They have 2 and 3 and my little sis has one. We used to all get together and hang out. But then I had dd2 and it just stopped. She's 10 months and they have only seen her a handful of times. They all live within 10-15 mins from me. Its like thanks for showing me where I stand in the family now.

Dang ? I think at this point I would either bring it up to them or just stop contacting them at all. No point in putting yourself out there just to get hurt more.

Yeah I told my sister today thanks for the invite. I told her it hurt my feelings and she just said sorry but it didn't sound apologetic. ? after my dad died my brother just shut down and turned everyone away. Now its like they're turning me away. We used to be so close. Our whole family just fell apart when my dad died. I thought at least I still have my sisters but now I'm not sure I have anyone but my mom and kids and husband. ?
