Iv been off my shot for around 8 months. I'm so desperate to get pregnant again but my period hasn't even returned! I know it's gonna take me a looong time after looking at these replies. Just get a test. No need to go to the doc just for a test

The hormones in the shot can mimic pregnancy symptoms. I was on the depo for 2 years. It took DH and I 3 years to conceive. The depo really screwed my cycle.

I've been off depo for 2 years and still not pregnant!! It gives so many false pregnancy symptoms though... it could be the shot making you feel that way!!

Actually had a very hard time trying to get pregnant even after my last Depo shot. It took me 18 months to even get my period back regular. Also the side effects of the shot made me feel like I was either PMSing or pregnant.

Thanks! My next Dr appt is March 8. But I'm thinking of going sooner. Dh doesn't think I am but, I'm not so sure. Its so weird to feel this way though. I have a hard time TTC as well. It took 18 months after my son and my second dd2 wasn't exactly planned but it took us 15 months. First time ever being on a bc so I'm hoping it still works!

My cousin did. She went in to get her next shot and when they did the routine pregnancy test it was positive. Only explanation was that it had ran out early.

I havent, but they can inject it into the arm and it is still effective. It is just a different muscle.
