I can't stand people that text/talk on the phone and drive. It's illegal and dangerous. With that being said, I think it's rude to blast your music too loud and depending on the time and location, you could also get a ticket for being so loud.
It wasn't blasting! Lol it was loud yes, but not loud enough where we were shaking our windows. He was also in the next lane to us. He wasnt using hands free if your using hands free i cant really say i have an issue bc i cant see it. I know it is dangerous though. When my sister got into an accident the people who hit her were talking on their phone. My sisters bf died and she was in the ICU for about a month getting her lungs drained from blood. She couldnt walk when she got out and had to use a walker. It was horrible.
Where I live you can get a ticket for music being that loud. If a cop can here it you'll get pulled over. I turn my radio down at stop lights ,in neighborhoods and in parking lots. I never use my phone while driving. My sons dad does it all the time and I get so freaked out. He also doesn't wear a seat belt and gets mad because I won't take the baby out of his car seat because its hot while he's going 80mph on the highway...ugh sorry I went off track.

I don't care if people have loud music. I truly don't care and it doesn't affect me at all. With that being said, it is illegal in Cali. I absolutely despise people who are on there phone and don't realize that it's there turn to go, are halfway into another lane, or almost crash another car for not paying attention. You put too many lives in danger when you text and drive or do not use a hands free device when making calls. It's irresponsible and selfish. I always tell them something if there in the lane next to me. Yeah I'm that person. Oh especially if they have a baby or kids in the car. I look at them disgusted and tell them to keep there eyes on the road. Texting and driving is dangerous and no ones going to feel bad for you when you crash and possibly lose your children for your idiotic move. But would I feel bad? Only for the kids for having such an irresponsible parent who couldn't put there safety first.
A few months back in LA I saw a guy using his tablet while driving! People can be so inconsiderate. If they want to put their own lives at risk so be it but don't endanger others.
It should have bigger fines when u use a cellphone in ur car.
On the other hand the bluetooth car is weird when u can hear the convo of someone. Especially when they talk dirty to the other person. Well i know what ur up too tonight dude! ?
It's illegal around here too. Last summer hubby and I were on the bike and pulled up beside someone at a red light who was holding his phone up to his ear. As soon as we pulled up he was like "sorry I can barely hear you, some dick on a bike rolled up beside me"

I'm sorry but first off you shouldn't have a phone up to your ear, hands free I'm fine with, but not a phone up to your ear. Second - you don't know my husband or what kind of associates he has, I would NEVER call some guy on a bike a dick, I would be afraid to get my ass kicked (my hubby is a teddy bear, but he doesn't really look like one lol) hubby just turned and looked at him and said "really?" And then to actually be a dick kept revving his bike so the guy couldn't hear ?
I have zero tolerance or respect for anyone on a cell phone while driving. There is evidence it's as dangerous if not more so than driving while intoxicated. You simply cannot have a conversation with someone not in the car and have all your attention on the road as well. Contrary to popular belief, it's NOT the same as conversing with a passenger. When someone is actually present in the vehicle, the conversation takes natural pauses relative to the conditions of the road and traffic, while a cell phone conversation does not.
And don't even get me started on texting and driving...

It's illegal in NY and you can get 5pts on your license for doing so. I use my Bluetooth through my car.

I hate it when someone's music is so loud I can hear it in my car, or I can feel the bass beating in my car. So rude. So inconsiderate.
That said it's not illegal here to talk on the phone but it is illegal to text. I actually never talk on my phone so that's not a problem for me. :-)
I admit to texting when I'm stopped at red lights which is technically illegal but not unsafe I don't believe.
