My cat proofed tree is a broomstick sitting next to the tree. He knows it'll go up his butt if he goes near it. Okay, not really but I have scared him a few times with it and now he won't go near the broom.
Omg I love this!!! My cat is freaking obsessed with the tree. I even went to bed bath and beyond at 830 on Sunday night to get her a huge climbing tower with toys... But no, still has to climb and sit in my tree
I wouldn't even bother at that point. The thing that works for us is the cinnamon scented pine cones. Place a bunch in the tree and then scatter some underneath. The cats hate the smell and it's cute for decoration.
That's when its time for the cat to go!!! I see all these post about cats destroying the Christmas tree and just can't understand how you put up with it! We have 3 huge dogs and a huge cat that could pass as a dog and they all know what they can and cannot do! Having to do this just is crazy basically your animal owns you!!
@mensita my animal doesn't own me. Lol! My cat passed away about a month ago from cancer.... my dog is at my sister till the baby is older.. so um yeah...
