So today while on BB (obviously lol) my boobs started leaking bm. I haven't pumped in 3 1/2 months. I thought it had dried up. I was very sad at not being able to bf. Well it starts leaking today and its not just little drops either. Dd wakes up and I get so happy to try and bf. She won't take it though! I tried to put her up to my breast and she won't have it. She can latch as she has done that before. But now that I have some milk even a little bit she won't take it. Its not enough to put in a bottle for her. I feel so sad! :'( I could honestly cry....

Can you try and get your supply up? Keep expressing it maybe?

I tried pumping with my hand pump but it wasn't leaving the breast just a lot on the nipple. Not enough to drain down in the bottle.

Aww, sad but there is hope!
Take the bm boosters and you can pump.
Idk how old baby is, but a nipple shield can help. When baby is sleepy, use the shield to get baby to dream, latch and suck.

She four months. Does anyone know how to make lactation cookies? If I can even make an oz id be happy. I can supplement feed. I know bm is best even a little. She only was on bm for 2 weeks bc she wasn't gaining weight. She's also a preemie by 9 weeks.
