Dreams
Do you believe they mean anything?? My dad had passed away Jan of 2013. It took such a toll on me and my family. He was the "glue" that kept us together. When he passed away our family just wasn't as strong as we were before hand. I had a dream a few days after his death and he said "i feel better. No more pain. Tell your mom I'm Ok and I love her." So this year in may my mother announced that she was selling the house we had for 28 years to move to Missouri. I was still pregnant at the time and I was just absolutely heart broken. My best friend was moving. Well I had a dream shortly after her telling us this about my dad and we were all at the house and boxes were everywhere. But he was going with my mom. And he kept saying "its for the best." Well I believed it to be a sign that my mom needed to go. Well I had my dd in June and she was 9 weeks early. Last night I had another dream of my dad. This time we were at my parents old house (mom moved July 29) and my dd was in the dream with me and it was so weird bc in my dream my dad had never seen my dd and she had a tear on her cheek when he held her. I said "aww its almost like she knows your gone." And he just smiled and said "you did really good". And he gave me a hug. It felt so real... I woke up with tears in my eyes. I found out a year after my dad passed away I was pregnant. It also got to me bc when my son passed away my dad told me at the funeral "you did good." I'm kinda full of emotion right now. Iv been having a rough time lately. I think he's trying to tell me everything will work out just fine. What do you ladies think?

That is so sweet! I'm a firm believer in dreams!! I have them all the time about my bestfriend/aunt. I also have lots of dreams involving water. My grandma always says my dreams are a gift. That The Lord has blessed me to see certain things. Which I believe. So I say that our dreams do mean things. How can they not? I have to believe my aunt is in a better place and her only way to visit me is to come c me in my dreams, much like your dad!

I feel in some way they do mean things as well. My dad coming to me in dreams is comforting. We were really close. I was a daddy's girl. Lol thank you for your reply. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I tell my family but they say I'm dwelling on his loss.

I have had many dreams after my dad has passed. So yes I am a firm believer. I will share some of my dreams. I had one after he passed that he was not really dead. This one I believe meant that to me he was not dead because even after death there is life. Then I had a dream (creepy) that the women in my family used some kind of spell to try to bring him back to life. (People not accepting his death.) Than after I moved away he visted me a few times. I knew he was with us even though I could not see him because I could smell in the air how he smells and I would always hear in the back of my mind somewhere a song he would have listened to while alive. Then for awhile me and DH were making a lot of bad financial decisions which caused us to be homeless. In my dream my dad looked at me disapprovingly and said, "what are you doing?" Then I knew I had to make a lot of changes.
My mom had dreams about him as well. Finally he told my mom he was getting ready to be reincarnated (if you believe in that) and none of us dreamt of him again. Sorry so long I just thought I would share.

They must be jealous lol. I called my mom today and told her and she believes he was telling me he's Ok and he's happy his granddaughter made it. :') I feel blessed now more then ever. I dream of my dad a lot. He was in the hospital for a month before he passed away and I visited him everyday. The night he passed away I told him I loved him and would miss him and to give my son kisses for me and his HB went up slightly. He heard me. I know he did.

I definitely believe that he heard you. The death of a parent is very hard to deal with but it is comforting knowing you have your dreams. And memories.

I definitely believe it was him in your dreams letting you know he's ok and not to fear, that he is accepting of your mom's decision and hopes for you to be too and that he loves, misses and is just plain proud of both you and your new baby :) I believe that they come to visit when you need them most and often when they need and miss you and just want to visit.. I recently lost a friend who my brother and I had grown up with, her and my brother were super close and best friends at that.. She was hit by a train right out front of my house and her mother's house and it was just the most horrible way to ever have to lose someone and my heart still continues to ache for my brother and for the lose of such a wonderful, funny, beautiful, young and lively girl to such a traumatic death.. But a while after her death I dreamt that I was at her house playing hide and seek with my brother and a her siblings and as I was hiding she come and found me.. I cried in relief "I thought you were gone?!" thinking that it had all just been a bad dream and she said "I am gone, but I am going to be ok and so are you" she told me how she felt so horrible for the pain her mother, my brother and her two best girlfriends were feeling and that she misses everyone sooo much.. I began to cry telling her how heart broken I was for her and her sudden demise and for my brother in these hard times and how he needed her so bad right then and she told me she was aware of his hurting heart and that she actually had to go because she was going to try to catch my brother in his dreams to let him know everything would be alright.. I didn't tell my brother right away of my dream in fear it would cause more pain than good and then a day or so later I get on Facebook and see this post from my brother "Woke up crying.. I saw her beautiful face gave her a hug and told her I miss her so much and she told me everything will be alright.. I haven't remembered a dream in over 2 years but I will never forget this one.. I love and miss you more than you would ever know" so there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that it is truly them in our dreams.. Guardian angels giving us love and support when we need it most :)
