This happened with both my kids. Last time I was pregnant with my daughter I was 37 weeks and I was at the hospital for my cough because I needed oxygen. I told them I felt my water leaking, they did the test and it came back inconclusive, half an hour later I was coughing and the rest of my water broke ?♀️
They said it’s not my waters but I feel like they are wrong. It is clear with no smell. It feels different than pee. I’m keeping an eye on it and I’ll go back if it continues.
My water began leaking at 6 am, I thought it was extra CM I texted my midwife at 7 am she said it sounds like a hind leak , it would stop and slow down I even thought it was all in my head at one point , but I went to have the midwife check on baby girls heart rate and movement and I ended up staying at the birth center and had my babygirl at 2:54 pm same day.
Mine did. It was with my first son. I woke up at 4am 3 days past my due date and there was a small fish of fluid. I thought I was peeing myself. Then it happened every hour during the night until i finally got up at 7am. I took a shower and called my ob. They had me come right in a checked the fluids and sure enough it was my waters. Any update?
I did I guess. Lol. I only leaked when I laid back on my bed. Even squating and coughing did nothing. I told my mom I couldn't control my bladder and she's like I'm no your water broke. Go to the hospital! I was like oh and sure enough it was my waters. With dd1 it was leaking the whole time I was pregnant with her and she was born early.
My sister’s did. The test for it came back negative but after a week she went to the hospital because she felt that she was leaking too much for it to not be her water. It came back negative again but they did an ultrasound and realized it was her water and admitted her right away to get my nephew out.
The pad test is good. Also if you want it to pick up. Keep moving. My first real gush was as I tidied up the house. Once I was off my feet it slowed down enough for sleep.
Midwife monitored me so I could sleep.
Also mine needed to be "broken" again by the 24h mark because it either resealed or hadn't torn enough. ?
Yes. With my first, I was already in labor at the hospital. I felt a small trickle, and thought I peed a little with a contraction. I didn’t think it was my water. When the nurse checked me, she said it was, but the rest was still plugged in by my son’s head. My OB had to use the hook to break the rest out.
