I want to make these for tomorrow night. I read online that if I put lemon or pineapple juice over the bananas they won’t turn brown as fast. Is this true? I don’t want to take them to a party and they look gross lol.

Sprite keeps then from going brown too. I tend to do this for Dd's fruit

I'm not sure about bananas but for potatoes I know putting them in ice water stops then from turning black, maybe it will do the same for the bananas ? ?‍♀️

ETA I just re read my comment, I didn't think before posting. Lol but if you put bananas in ice water they might get soggy ?

Yes! Citric acid of any kind keeps them looking fresh. There's also a powder you can buy at the grocery store that is flavorless.
