Thanks we saw him last weekend and he was a totally different person from just 2-3 weeks ago. It’s so bad my mom can’t leave him for more then like an hour or so and when she does she’s stressing About him the whole time. It’s so sad to see this big strong guy who just to be such a busy body just sitting around and not really able to walk. We were in the car for about 45mins last weekend and he couldn’t get out of the car. Saying his right leg won’t work!! He has an occlusion on the left side of his brain (a blood vessel) that’s causing his right side to be effected

That's so sad and scary! I know it's hard to watch someone u love start to decline health wise. What does his doctor say? Can he see a new doctor to get another opinion?

He’s been to several different dr. Neurologist and neuro surgeons. Had ever test done on his brain and heart. It is so sad to watch his rapid decline. So tomorrow we are taking the kids on a Santa express train ride my mom was supposed to come but we will be gone for several hours and now she can’t come because he can’t be left alone. She’s not his wife anymore but his caretaker. She’s having a really hard time. The only thing the drs recommend is pt but she having a hard time finding any places that do the pt he needs. Theres a waiting list for one pt place. My mom will be calling around today to find a place that will do this specific or. Thanks for your prayers. It’s very scary because he fell last night and hit is head and face on the bedside table. If he doesn’t get the help soon he will get seriously hurt. I’m crying as I write this because lord knows what’s going to happen to him

Thanks ladies I really appreciate all the prayers and good thoughts. As of this am he was doing ok just the side of his face hurt really bad from his fall last night. My moms still looking for pt places that will take him.

His primary dr is just saying it’s vestibular. Which is throwing off his balance. But he has other symptoms then just being dizzy and off balanced. He’s forgetting stuff I thought he had some dementia but the drs don’t think that’s the case!!

Look up ataxia. It has to do with your cerebellum in your brain.

Yes pp I totally forgot the dr did mentions something about the base of the brain stem! I know what ataxia is in animals so I’m sure it’s pretty similar
