Random acts of kindness/paying it forward

With fair coming up, my family is super busy (parents and siblings still in 4-H getting animals ready). So over the weekend I had brought up pork chops and cucumber onion salad and helped my sister with her goat.

I wouldn't necessarily call it paying it forward though, I like helping ?

Yea it doesn't have to be about paying it forward just doing something nice for someone else with nothing expected in return ya know!!! I really wanna keep this going and hear some good stories of people helping others!!! No more negative posts bashing others please!!!

My dog was due for some new toys so we went to the local shelter to buy them because purchases benefit the shelter. Then we pet the kitties and the dogs, which benefitted them and us!

I bring in the old mans garbage can because I know he struggles. I usually do things and don't expect anything in return. Just the other day I was struggling putting my daughter in and some man came and asked her to listen to me and gave her 5 dollars for a kids meal because he has grandkids that act wild lol. It really made my day

I live in Minnesota, and not far from the Mall of America, there is almost always someone homeless and begging along the roadway out front. It's our every day mall if we have to get something, so I've been use to this and it's size my whole life.

Anyways, dh and I had just been to Godfathers (a pizza place) for lunch, we had about 6 pieces left over in a to-go box. Well we were stopped at the light, and a homeless man with a sign asking for anything was sitting there, we were first in line and dh and I were discussing how we had no cash (I don't like to give money anyways) but I felt bad for this gentleman.

He was walking down the line and about 4 cars back when I yelled "hey man, I don't have any money, but I'd happily give you this" *signaling to box.*

He walks over and tells me all he wants is to eat and that he'd happily take it. I gave him the 6 pieces of pizza. He told us God bless, and that I made his day.

It was a few weeks ago, but it made me feel nice, plus this gentleman was so thankful someone offered something, even though it was our leftovers. ?

I hope he's doing okay.

Went to chick Fila the other day and the man in front of me paid for my 20$ order. ❤️

There's a really older lady that lives next to me with her adult disabled son. I make dinner and lunch for them a few times a week. Her birthday is in a few weeks so I'd like to go get her a little cake and some balloons. She is just the sweetest old lady! I really adore her so much.

Dh and I donate to a low income school at the start of each school year to help pay for the children's lunches and or breakfasts.

Some teenagers asked for help at a gas station by my house the other day and asked for a ride home cause they lived down the street. I was alone and wasn't really comfortable AT ALL with that but I only had my card so I put $10 in there tank and asked them to pay it forward when they could.

When I was working I would buy food for this homeless man and give it to him everyday after work, it would upset me when he wasn't in his corner, it hurt me to think he didn't get his daily meal.
