My daughter has been on it for months her primary doctor put her onto it for constipation as well but never told me to stop I told her I had concerns but she said there was nothing to be concerned about. But I'm just going to take her to a specialist because I agree I don't think they should be on it for a long time but then again I'm not sure.

My oldest uses it, but never for more than a week at a time. I'll have to look into it.

Probiotics are a better choice, but unfortunately not all,kids respond to it.

He was on probiotics as a baby so I think I'll go back to that. This is alarming though

Weve tried probiotics, probiotics with fiber, every natural solution we could. And unfortunately miralax is the only thing that helps ds. He uses it for a day or two at a time maybe a total of a week a month if that. His dr said to just use it as i felt he needed it.

My older boy used it a lot when he was younger. It's all that helped him. He hasn't used it in years though, scary.

My oldest she's 6 years old she'll be 7 next month she's been on miralax since she was 1 years old. Never had any issues.

Oh no. We use corn syrup but I've taken it.

He's always had problems with poops. He eats tons of fruits and has water available all day long. I don't know why he has these issues. I'll be calling his pedi tomorrow though
