Proud mommy moment
Going off of another post from yesterday. I was at Walmart getting our donation gifts today and was talking to my 2 year old about what we were doing (not that he really understands but oh well) anyway there was a women at the store who was talking about my 2 year old saying how sweet his smile was and how cute he was. I small talked with her a little and told her that him and his brother are my best buddies. Well she looks at me and says wow what a great mom you are and that she will be thinking of me and my little boys and that it make her smile!!! It's so nice to get compliments from complete strangers about me and my children!!

My moment isn't because of me but of how proud I am with my little guy. He's finally talking and he rode the mall carousel by himself. He impresses me all the time!

On a more serious note, my son's teacher compliments me on his manners and how great he is all the time. I decided to hold him back a year (he's 4 and is in a 3 year old preschool class) because his listening and following directions skills need work. Well, he's been doing so well with everything at school and participates really well and I'm so proud of him. I was worried that he would act out in school because he can be a real handful at home, but he gets nothing but good reports. ☺️

My LO counted to 5 all by himself yesterday. I wanted to cry not just because I was so proud that he did it, but I was so sad he's growing up.

My children's daycare provider says daily how she wishes all the kids she takes care of were as well mannered, polite, and caring as my kids. They are 8 and 17 months.

My son's teacher had him show the class how to blow their noses because he blows really hard until you tell him to stop. Dh thinks it's hilarious that she has him show his friends all the time.

Last night I got my 2 year old to eat something other than cottage cheese. It may sound like a silly proud mommy moment but she is super picky and has only wanted cottage cheese for the last week.

Dd is doing her signs by herself! I ask her what she wants and she can tell me more, eat and milk. We are still working on milk, book, water, friend and a couple others! She's 16mo and doesn't talk yet so the communication is so helpful. I'm so proud ?
