Ugh why does no one ever respond to my posts/questions?!?!

Patience is key. I don't entertain when my 2 yr old is having a meltdown. I wait till he's done then I will talk to him. I will put ds in timeouts when he's really acting out. Hell sit n cry there but I will only talk to him when he's calm. I'll explain y he's was put in time out n he'll tell me sorry. Time outs rarely happen in this house though.

Lots of patience. My son isn't even two and some days the tantrums are horrible. But you've got to remember at this point, they don't know how to express how they're feeling so they get physical. It's frustrating for you but can you imagine how frustrated you'd be if you couldn't figure out what you're feeling, why you feel that way, or how to express it?

Yes, at that age they expect mommy n daddy to be mind readers n when we don't get it on the second guess then they have a fit. It's trial n error n as days progress communication gets better between u n lo.

I know and I'm usually a very calm when talking with him. Just the last few weeks have been very rough on me. I know it's tough on him too. He talks a little but not enough to totally express his feelings.
