Rave!!! No more babies for me!!!
Rave!!! No more babies for me!!!
So I had the essure procedure done in April. Well today I got my recheck X-ray with due to ensure my tubes are sealed and they are!!!! Woohoo. No more birth control and there's like almost no chance of getting pregnant. I'm so happy (but also a little sad). I'm blessed with 2 beautiful healthy little boys. My life is full and now I have no worries!!!

I had essure done last year and one of coils expelled. I decided I wasn't doing tubal ligation so if OH doesn't want anymore babies he needs to get a vasactamy. But congratulations to you!!!!

@rea really yours expelled?!? I didn't think that was possible due to scar tissue. How did u know did u see it?

It was in the first 3 months. When I went for my HSG only had one coil. My dr said it probably expelled during my period and I didn't notice it.
I guess they can still move after confirmed blocked I belong to a Facebook group essure problems. And a lot of ladies claimed theirs have moved. I only joined because mine didn't take.
Eta I have been pregnant since..was pregnant in November and miscarried in December at 9 weeks.

Oh wow I did research but didn't find anything about them moving after confirmed in place. I'm not of Facebook

@jia what does that mean?!?! I was gonna post a pic of my X-ray but I didn't know how people would react lol

You might wanna google those coils. A good friend of mine is having some serious issues because of the essure procedure severe enough that she's part of a large law suit. I'm not trying to scare you but look up the long term effects of them.

I will thanks pp. but as of now it's a little late. I did see there was some lawsuits because of it but there's lawsuits over everything now a days

No I totally get that but she has been hospitalized for the last two months because it slipped and sliced her uterus all up and they can't get her to heal because of how deep the gashes are.

Ugh that's really scary. My sister had hers done a little over 6 years ago and hasn't had any problems

Yeah tall about scary. She has a tipped uterus so that may very well have alot to do with it but still none the less a scary situation.

I was looking into Essure myself until I saw the lawsuits. There's lawsuits on all kinds of stuff, sure, but these lawsuits are huge and have a large population of patients behind them.
With that being said, many women haven't had any issues with their essure at all and my fingers are crossed that you and your sister remain problem free!!
