I don't think it would be comfortable to wear wet underwear under a bathing suit.

I would but underwear on him. That is what my husband does with our boy. We always take the netting out of the bathing suit. It causes too many problems.

Yea I put underwear on him. They change him at school/camp once they are done so I packed another pair of undies. I hate that mesh it always causes rashes in my boys esp when they are in diapers

They had a story where the boy little private part was tangled in the netting of the bathing suit shorts and had to go to hospital to get it tooken off cause it caused major swelling !

^^ I saw that story 2 mya. Always think of it when I have to put them on my 9 month old who uses a swim diaper under but one day will need to do this. I think cutting the netting out is a great idea. To answer your question I would probably sent extra underwear just in case and let him just wear underneath to cover yourself.

I sent mine in underwear, took a little swimmers pull up and extra clothes/ underwear. I'm that mom that is always over packed and prepared for WWIII lol!

Yea I always cut out the netting. My husband says it bothers him so I just do it with my boys now.

Yea I always send him with an extra pair of underwear. He tends to have accidents at school anyway so he's got 2 pairs of underwear in his backpack
