Ear tube surgery.

Sorry for the 2nd post about this. My son had ear tube surgery yesterday am. Put antibiotic drops in last night before bed he said the drops hurt his ears. (Not sure if they actually hurt or just felt weird going in) anyway he woke up about 3 hours after going to bed last night with a little bit of bleeding from left ear. This am he was picking at his ear (I was making breakfast so I didn't see him do it) not there's a lot of dried blood in his ear. 2 questions. How do I get the ear drops into his ear and is it normal for some bleeding. The papers said a little bit of blood would be normal but this seems like maybe it's more then normal.
