Oh yes!! My daughter has always had a temper, and she was a terribly colicy newborn, but once she got out of the stage she has been so easy. She's intelligent, methodical, organized, funny, and happy (until she gets mad.)

My son was the easiest newborn ever but it's like a switch flipped when he hit about 5 months. He's super emotional, super clingy, super temperamental. He's either the happiest toddler on earth or the angrier or the saddest. There is no in between with him.

Honestly they're only 21 months apart but I struggle each day to know how to parent both of them. They're so dramatically different so what worked for one is a disaster for the other.

I think it's a 2nd child syndrome lol.

The exact same thing with our daughters. One has more of a tender spirit and the other has a strong spirit.

That describes my 2 girls. I swear I never raised my voice ONCE before DD2 ?

My boys are twins, both 19 months old and are polar opposites. Baby A is very logical and mechanical, he likes to figure things out and play with small manipulative toys on his own, he LOVES to do everything I do and he doesn't understand why he sometimes can't (like when he wants to cook on the stove ?) so his fits are pretty intense since he doesn't really talk. Baby B is very social, he likes to talk to us and he has very little patience for figuring things out on his own, his fits don't usually last or get out of hand because he is more effective with his communicating, however he is hardly ever content playing on his own, he likes someone to play with him, so trying to leave the house or trying to make dinner becomes "don't trip over the baby". Luckily for me because they are so different they play SO well together and my life is never boring. I love both of their little personalities.

Yes!! DS was and is amazing. Always a well behaved baby and young man. Still likes to cuddle and wants me to pick him up for some lovin. He is my sweet sweet boy.

And then I have my daughter who is a wild child. She is getting better but she is such a wiggle worm from day one. Likes to be on her own when sleeping and very demanding when she is awake.

It's crazy how 2 children with the same parents can be so different.

I wonder what number 3 will be like ?

My kids are practically identical in looks and personality (not twins) although dd is a bit more adventurous than ds was as a baby. But my stepdaughters couldn't possibly be more different. The older one is strong willed, defiant, kind of a bully. And the younger one is quiet, sweet, and shy.

Like night and day. That's why I just laugh when mom's will say things like "my kid has never and will never do that, because I raise her properly" and they only have one or were lucky enough to have two easy kids. I knew from just a few months with my second that life would be very different with #2 than my first.

This makes me scared to have another because my first child acts like yalls seconds!!!!! :"(

Ha, I have 4 and they all have completely different personalities.

My oldest is my "geek" child. He was also the most perfect baby ever made. He never cried as a baby, never got into stuff (seriously, not once did I have to get onto him for touching stuff he wasn't supposed to), very easy going and sweet, social but also loved (loves) his alone time/personal space, and happy all the time. He is 11 now and still as sweet as can be although he hates school and is obsessed with Transformers and Lego's, he is always talking about his inventions.

My daughter is my "brainiac" child. She has always been my little miss curiosity. She had to touch and inspect everything. She is high maintenance, bossy, OCD, and a little mother hen. She is 4 now and extremely intelligent, loves school, bossing her brothers (and everyone else) around, and wants constant attention and never shuts up.

My 3rd child is my "wild" child. He is rough and tough and all boy. He is all about bullying his older siblings with sneak attacks, hitting, and destroying their toys. Of course, dirt, cars, and climbing/jumping off of stuff ranks high on the list too. He is 2.

My 4th is only 7 weeks so I'm not sure what his personality is going to be like yet but I expect it to be different from the other 3. I love them all and their crazy personalities, it is never boring here and always a good time?

My kids are the opposite. Ds1 is challenging, and ds2 is super easy. They've both been that way since they were in utero! It's amazing!
