Teeth and nursing
My son is 4&1/2 mths old he has 4 teeth. 2 on top 2 on bottom. Recently he has been scraping my nipples with his bottom teeth it hurts really bad. What can I do about it if anything. I'm a sahm so he almost never gets a bottle. I'm afraid I won't be able to nurse much longer cause it's so painful. Anyone else have issues with this? Suggestions please!!

Take him off and say no bite (even though its just rubbing together). Make sure he opens wide to nurse. They get used to their teeth though and it will get better. My 14 month old has 12 teeth now and she looks like a shark when she latches (opens wide and lots of teeth lol)

Thanks I really don't wanna stop nursing I love it too much. I'll try that and your right I notice he's not opening his mouth that wide anymore

I'd suggest same as pp take child off breast and tell them no biting wait a moment and continue nursing. Do it every time it happens. They will adventually catch on and understand. Try getting a deep latch n nursing somewhere not too distracting may help as well.
