Holy rib pain.....any advice?
Holy rib pain.....any advice?
Baby B is laying horizontally across the top of my uterus putting him directly at my ribs. When he shifts, stretches, balls up I am in such pain I can barely breath. I'm 30 weeks now and I am worried that as he puts on more weight it will get worse. I read that some women have had cracked or bruised ribs as a result of this and I am freaking out a bit.

I have the same issue. There really isn't anything you can do to make them move. I've done some stretching and that helps with the pain overall and I heard going to a chiropractor really helps. Haven't done that yet. I feel like both of my babies have camped out in my ribs this whole pregnancy. Hope it gets better!

I have ribs on both sides of my back that have popped out of place. The only thing that helped at first was jabbing something in my back but then I tried icy hot patches that my doctor suggested and that helped a lot. They weren't in my ribs... He just said it was from my diaphragm stretching.

Thanks ladies. I will try to stretch and see what happens
