Failed 1hr glucose test....Overall bad day

Iron infusion is basically going to.the hospital every few weeks and getting iron through an IV

I'm so sorry you're going through this, I'm sure it feels like you've been hit by a bus load of information.

I had gestational diabetes with my second daughter. I ended up being induced because of it. They had me on two different insulins, and I was mixing them and administering them 4 times a day. I was on a strict diet. I lost so much weight, and my diabetes kept getting worse and worse. My liver was starting to fail. My ketones were very high. So I was induced.

Gestational diabetes is scary, but can be treated. And I hope and pray you pass your 3 hour test.? I'm sure you're in great hands.

Wow that's a lot of stuff to take in. I'm sorry that you're going through that. The baby aspirin could be for a number of reasons-- mine is to prevent preeclampsia as apparently my risk is elevated (20% compared to the general population which is 7%) but I'm not sure in your case since you're also on another blood thinner. I just hope that things start to feel less overwhelming for you soon. That's exactly how I felt when I walked out of the Medical Disorders in Pregnancy clinic the first time. My head was swimming. But I'm on vitamin d and calcium as well and the good news is you can get both in chewable forms! Good luck. I will be cheering for you!

Sorry about your iron infusions, I have had to do it and honestly it wasnt so bad. Not sure about you but I get super weak and tiered when my iron is low, and so the infusions make me feel better!! Good luck and stay strong

I don't know about all the other stuff my I had gestational diabetes with my son. Unless you are craving sweets and hooked on carbs, it won't be that bad. I failed the 1 hour with my daughter and passed the 3hr. I know it can be hard to stay positive but please try. Daily affirmations/prayers help me.

As far as the heart rates dropping, that's normal right? As the babes get bigger they decrease. Sounds like they are growing good. Sending Love, Light, and positivity.

Dang, that's a lot! How have you been feeling in general? Crazy blood sugar and low iron alone can make you feel awful, but add on everything else they told you today... I hope you are feeling ok! Poor thing. :(

The aspirin daily is for help preventing preeclampsia. I have to take them myself because I have a history. Praying for u hun. My twins were born at 34 wks. 4 lbs 5 Oz's and 4 lbs 1 oz. Only stayed in hospital 5 days.
